BY THE VILLAGE SUN | After 34 years serving at the East Village’s 9th Precinct, Detective Jaime Hernandez is retiring.
The precinct will honor the longtime community affairs officer by bidding him farewell at his “walkout” outside the station house, at 321 E. Fifth St., on Tues., Jan. 31, at 11 a.m.
I recall Det. Hernandez from when I lived in the East Village and was involved with our block association. He really cared about the residents and the many neighborhood issues. Wishing him a great retirement.
Wishing Jaime all the best in his retirement! He served the community so well.
Wishing Det. Hernandez a happy retirement!
And isn’t the Ninth Precinct the one used for the few on location scenes in “NYPD Blue”?
This community has been a better place for the service of Det. Hernandez.
Thank you very much Jaime, Officer Hernandez. Congrats, you made it.
Please, Don’t be a stranger. Keep us posted on your travels in the world. Blessings and new doors welcome your retirement.
