Police said a burglar recently broke into the Museum at Eldridge Street and made off with $400 worth of electronic equipment.
On Sat., Jan. 25, around 12:30 p.m., a 62-year-old custodian returned to work at the synagogue, at 12 Eldridge St., when he discovered property missing and called police, according to a report.

The individual is described as 25 to 35 years old, last seen wearing all dark clothing.
