A 14-year-old was stabbed outside the Jacob Riis Houses earlier this month, police said.
Cops said that on Mon., March 8, at 5 p.m., the youth got into an argument with six unidentified males at E. 10th St. and the F.D.R. Drive.
The dispute escalated and the victim was punched multiple times in his face. A 23-year-old male came to the aid of the first victim but was stabbed once in his lower back.
The attackers stole the first victim’s backpack, which contained his ID. Despite suffering pain and swelling to his face, he refused medical attention.
The older victim was transported by E.M.S. to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The unidentified males fled on foot.
Police released a surveillance video showing one of the alleged attackers entering 466 E. 10th St. in the Riis Houses, located about half a block away from the incident, afterward. The other unidentified males are said to be in their late teens.
