Assemblymember Grace Lee and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine will host a borough-wide celebration for A.A.P.I. (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month on the Lower East Side on Fri., May 19, starting at 5:30 p.m.
There will be a panel discussion with A.A.P.I. leaders Deeksha Gaur, Lisa Gold, Lily Fan and Andrew and David Fung. Other local politicians and community leaders will also attend.
The venue is the Manny Cantor Center, at 197 East Broadway.
The event will also feature A.A.P.I.-led entertainment, plus free food and drinks. All are welcome.
