A man was cut up by two attackers in Greenwich Village on Thurs., April 22, police said.
According to cops, around 11:20 p.m., two individuals approached the victim in front of 395 Sixth Ave., between Waverly Place and Eighth St. Brandishing at least one knife and a pair of scissors, they assaulted him, stabbing and slashing him multiple times.
E.M.S. medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his back and lacerations to his face and leg.
A police source said the victim had been in a verbal dispute with a different person, after which the pair came and attacked him.
“We think that this is narcotics related,” the source said. “That’s the working theory.”
Police released photos of two men they say are suspects.
